Annual STROLL'IN Midwest Competition

The Elegua Chapter is proud to announce the return of STROLL’IN, the 4th Annual Midwest Stroll Competition held in partnership with the Art of Stepping (AOS) at Northeastern Illinois University at Chicago, IL sponsored by Omega Phi Beta Sorority, Inc.

STROLL’IN was created when the Art of Stepping and the Elegua Chapter of Lambda Sigma Upsilon Latino Fraternity, Inc. met to work on an event that not only exposed but fortified an aspect of Greek culture in the Midwest. The focus of STROLL’IN was to provide a regional event that worked towards bringing unity amongst fraternal Greek lettered organizations by using the universal medium of artistic expression.

The result was a successful first two years. Greeks, students, and families from all across the Midwest congregated at DePauw University to witness the top stroll teams of the Midwest battle it out for the cash prize and the title of STROLL’IN Champion.

Winners will receive a cash prize along with the title of STROLL’IN Champion.

“It was great to see so many different people in the room.” said John Yates, Founder of the Elegua Chapter, “Different organizations, from different places, each with their own different style. We are excited to see that same unity this year.”
