Because rigorous academics provides us with the tools that will help us succeed beyond college and because we live in a world that seeks leaders who are academically sound, we work to ensure that our brothers are prepared for the success that they are destined for.
 

• Cultural Awareness and Diversity

 

As one of the most diverse fraternities in the nation, Lambda Sigma Upsilon maintains a strong emphasis on cultural awareness. We do not believe that a leader looks a certain way, speaks a certain language, subscribes to a certain culture, or anything of the sort. We believe that a leader is at home in strange lands and can navigate margins with ease. Diversity brings with it the most powerful lessons that one simply cannot learn in the classroom. As a brotherhood, we strive to experience those lessons. 
 

• Brotherhood

 

Is a brotherhood of leadership and service. Our brotherhood is unique and diverse and provides a sense of family and a new perspective on college life. An eternal brotherhood where men from all walks of life are supported by one another, this is the Upsilon way. 
 

• Being Role Models to the Community

 

Lambda Sigma Upsilon is a brotherhood of service. We pride ourselves in the difference we are able to make in our communities. An Upsilon man is not a stranger to adversity or prejudice and it is because of this that we are passionate about moving forward. We work to provide others with the opportunities we were fortunate enough to have and push so that we can give a little more. Siempre, siempre palante.
